Cookie Policy
This page explains what cookies Margifi uses, why, and how you can control them. We keep it short: there are two categories — strictly necessary cookies that keep the platform running, and analytics cookies (PostHog) that help us improve the product. We do not use advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies.

1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your computer, mobile device, or browser by a website or web application when you visit it. Cookies are widely used to make websites work effectively, to improve user experience, and to provide reporting information to website operators.
Margifi also uses similar technologies including:
- Local storage — browser-based storage used to retain session preferences and dashboard configuration settings between visits.
- Session storage — temporary, in-session storage cleared when the browser tab is closed, used for navigation state.
- Pixel trackers / event scripts — JavaScript-based event collection used by PostHog to track user interactions with the Dashboard.
The term "cookies" in this policy refers collectively to cookies, local storage, session storage, and event-tracking scripts unless otherwise specified.
2. Categories of cookies we use
Margifi uses two categories of cookies.
3. Cookies we do not use
Margifi does not use:
- Advertising or targeting cookies — no cookies for retargeting users via Meta, Google, or any ad network.
- Third-party social media cookies — no Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, TikTok Pixel, or equivalent.
- Cross-site tracking cookies — no cookies designed to track users across websites other than the Margifi Platform itself.
- Affiliate tracking cookies.
